Gradually feeling better and better every day. Can eat some and drink some on my own, so it's all a piece of cake from here...been a long haul and I am close to done I think...Dont know if I would go thru it again though..It was that tough and only to maybe get some maintenance drug free time...not sure it will be worth it yet.. Time will tell I suppose.
Being back home is so much better for my mental state and only go the the clinic twice a week for tests, so in 2 weeks they will relaese me and I am on my own and back to my local oncologist doc for checkups and tests. Pretty boring from here out...
I think this will end my blog experiemce and I want to thatnk all who replied and called me to see how I was doing...reallly makes me feel humble and gratefull..thanks to all and good night.

Normally, I would worry when there hasn't been a blog posting for months. Luckily, as the blog slowed down, Daryl's activity on the various Vanagon lists had picked up quite a bit. This tells me he must be feeling better & he does mention that in various posts as all of us virtual friends welcome him back. Better than that, however, is that Daryl made the drive down to Oregon for Mogfest 2010 last week. Everyone was so excited to see Daryl & relieved that he looks so great. Too bad his Syncro was not running as well as Daryl. His cooling fan switch was on the blink & he had to skip part of the day's trail run. It's such a treat to spend time with Daryl under normal circumstances, but to have him at an event like this was fantastic. Here's hoping he's feeling up to the Leavenworth camp out in early October. Would not be the same without you Daryl. See you there.
